Infrared Camera
Most cameras today produce quality pictures in all lighting conditions. With the built in flash, it is even possible to take a picture in complete darkness. However, there is still a concept that is even more useful than just the ability to take pictures in dark. What if you could physically see the differences in heat exchange and wanted to see the just what the effects of the heat had on objects? An infrared camera would solve this problem rather quickly. Most cameras are in a grey scale to decipher the differences between hot and cold. Now it is more and more common to have cameras with color images to display what exactly it means to show. The best infrared camera would even be able to see through walls. The only disadvantage to any infrared camera is that if all of the surrounding area were the same temperature as the object or person/animal wishing to be seen, it would essentially have no affect. When law enforcement wishes to see a situation inside of a building when there are walls and no windows, the infrared camera would be brought into use and show all of the situations inside. Many of the big city news agencies carry their own version of an infrared video camera so that it is possible to bring to people the news with out having to wait second hand from law enforcement.
Now the infrared wireless spy camera has its uses as well. This has hit the market big in the form of Nanny cam. The cameras today are able to take pictures even when little light is available and make it look like all of the light was there and have perfect clarity. The advantage of this camera is that it is wireless and one could put all of the hardware in another location and just place a camera the size of a tangerine or racquetball anywhere out of view and take all of the pictures without anyone being wiser that the camera ever there. Infrared cameras even now come in color so there could be no discrepancies in what is being showed in the picture or video.
